The FX programmer is used to setup the features of the T9 transmitter and FX255 decoder.
Connecting the FX programmer to the T9 transmitter will power it up and the technician can set new or view the current T9 settings. The security company frequency and coding settings are encrypted on the programmer and will only allow the user programming access to transmitters of the same security company.
With a multitude of features and programmable settings possible on the T9 transmitter and FX255 Decoder, a programmer is needed to view and set or adjust these features.
On connecting the programmer, the LCD display will indicate the version of software and type of device being programmed. The programmer will then indicate if the device being programmed is matched to the programmer and whether the user may continue programming.
Multiple channels can be saved onto the programmer with customer feature default settings.
